AllHornets.com Makes Donation To Local Charlotte Domestic Violence Charity

We welcome other media outlets to follow in our footsteps
In this story:

Over the past 18 months, the Miles Bridges domestic violence story has been difficult for everyone. As a media outlet that covers the Charlotte Hornets, it was AllHornets.com's duty to cover the story and help fans understand the latest on the situation. At times the content within the latest story was hard to read and the images difficult to see.

Unfortunately, Miles Bridges' ongoing domestic violence case has been one of the few nationally relevant Hornets story lines over the last 18 months garnering a great deal of attention. This has at times resulted in a significant increase in website traffic for AllHornets.com, resulting in an increase in advertising revenue. It has never sat well with All Hornets that the website has essentially benefited from a domestic violence related story. We aren't here to tell you what to think, but no matter what side of the Bridges debate you sit on, everyone can agree that society as a whole needs to be doing more to tackle domestic violence, and we wanted to do our part to help.

AllHornets.com has agreed to donate the profits from any Bridges-related article published over the last 18 months to Safe Alliances, a local Charlotte, NC domestic violence charity. Thank you to those on social media who suggested Safe Alliances as a charity partner, we're thrilled to be able to help. We would welcome other revenue generating media outlets to follow in our footsteps.

Thank You, All Hornets Contributor Team
