Bally Sports to Remain the Home of Hornets TV for 2023-24

Hornets fans will have to continue to tune in to Bally Sports for games this season.

Bally Sports announced Wednesday afternoon that they will broadcast all 82 Charlotte Hornets games for the 2023-24 season.

There has been some uncertainty about the organization's TV partner, whose parent company, Diamond Sports Group, filed for bankruptcy last March.

As far as the long-term future of Hornets' broadcasts, there's a lack of clarity.

"We're obviously under contract through the 2025-26 season with Bally Sports and we expect them to live up to that contract," new Hornets' owner Rick Schnall stated earlier this summer. "They're obviously in Chapter 11, so that's an ongoing negotiation and the NBA is very concerned and very involved in that. There will be a place to watch the Hornets. We think it'll be Bally Sports under the terms of the contract, but if not we will have alternative plans."

Play-by-play man Eric Collins, color analyst Dell Curry, and courtside reporter, Ashley ShahAhmadi will return this season and will be joined by Terrence Oglesby, who has experience as a college basketball analyst.
