In this story:

Brandon Miller is the first member of the Charlotte Hornets to have their NBA 2K24 rating revealed. Miller has been given an overall rating of 78, which makes him the highest rated rookie in Charlotte history after LaMelo Ball's 77 in 2020. 

In Brandon Miller's reaction he said "I'm close to 80! They always do the rooks in 70s or 80 and below, I'm cool with 78." Brandon Miller joins Scoot Henderson who was selected 3rd overall who is also rated 78.
