WATCH: Brandon Miller Posterizes Daniel Gafford

The Hornets' rookie took flight last night in Washington.

Charlotte Hornets rookie Brandon Miller is wasting no time introducing himself to the rest of the NBA.

In Thursday night's preseason contest with the Washington Wizards, Miller launched into the air just a notch inside the paint to throw down a vicious dunk while going over Wizards' center Daniel Gafford.

Unfortunately, the officials ruled the play a charge and took the basket off the board. I'm not sure Gafford was completely set and established once Miller took off but either way, it's still an incredible play that shows of the rookie's athleticism.

Miller finished the game with nine points on 4/8 shooting (1/4 3FG) while also collecting six rebounds, two assists, and a steal.

Miller and the Hornets will be back in action Sunday evening to host the Oklahoma City Thunder at 5 p.m. EST.
