The Charlotte Hornets have announced their summer league roster ahead of the California Classic summer league which starts on Monday the 3rd of July. A squad of 20 players might seem excessive, but expect some of the returning players to only play in one of the two Summer Leagues Charlotte are playing in (California and Las Vegas).

Guards - Nick Smith Jr (#27: Arkansas), Amari Bailey (Two-Way: UCLA), James Bouknight (UConn), Justin Robinson (2019 UDFA: Virginia Tech), Cameron Henry (2023 UDFA: Indiana State), Tajion Jones (2023 UDFA: UNC Ashville), Jaylon Scott (2023 UDFA: Charleston), Kobi Simmons (2017 UDFA Arizona)

Wings - Brandon Miller (#2: Alabama), Bryce McGowens (Nebraska), Angelo Allegri (Exhibit 10: Eastern Washington), Leaky Black (Two-Way: UNC), Jaylen Sims (2022 UDFA: UNC Wilmington), Xavier Sneed (2020 UDFA: Kansas State)

Forwards - Angelo Allegri (Exhibit 10: Eastern Washington), Trevon Scott (2020 UDFA: Cincinnati), Anthony Duruji (2022 UDFA: Florida State)

Centers - Kai Jones (Texas), James Nnaji (#31: FC Barcelona), Nathan Mensah (Exhibit 10: San Diego State),

LiAngelo Ball is missing from this years' roster after appearing on Charlotte's last two teams. JT Thor is not included in the roster despite him stating towards the end of the regular season he was open to playing in summer league.
