In this story:

The Charlotte Hornets have agreed to terms on a one-year deal with veteran free agent point guard Frank Ntilikina, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

In 47 games with the Mavs this past season, Ntilikina averaged 2.9 points, 1.3 rebounds, 1.2 assists in roughly 13 minutes per contest. The 25-year-old was the 8th overall pick by the New York Knicks in the 2017 NBA Draft, but failed to live up to expectations. He appeared in 211 games with the team and made 55 starts in four seasons, posting just 5.5 points per game.

Point guard options are relatively thin on the free agent market at this stage in the offseason, but Ntilikina does help replace what Dennis Smith Jr. provided defensively in 2022-23.
