Hornets Sign Xavier Sneed to a 10-Day Contract

A late season opportunity for Sneed.
In this story:

The Charlotte Hornets have agreed to a 10-day contract with Xavier Sneed.

With the Hornets eliminated from the playoffs, the focus is now on the future of the team. Sneed was a bright spot on the Greensboro Swarm as he averaged 12.5 points, 4.7 points, and 2.4 assists in 32 games.

Sneed is clearly one of the players down in the G-League that is deserving of an opportunity and the Hornets wanted to give Sneed a deeper look at how he will perform against NBA-level talent.

With all the injuries the Hornets are dealing with, they are going to need fill-in options for the squad. Sneed has a big opportunity to be a part of the rotation and impress for the time he has with the team.
