After being fired by the Charlotte Hornets last season, James Borrego has been linked to a handful of head coaching jobs around the NBA. The latest? The Milwaukee Bucks.

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Borrego is expected to interview for the Bucks job along with Portland Trail Blazers assistant coach Scott Brooks, Toronto Raptors assistant coach Adrian Griffin, Golden State Warriors assistant coach (aka former Hornets head coach) Kenny Atkinson, and Milwaukee assistant coach Charles Lee.

Milwaukee would certainly be the best job Borrego could get. It's a championship-caliber team and in fact, is only two seasons removed from winning the NBA title.

Many around the association were impressed with the job Borrego did in Charlotte as he saw a win improvement of ten in consecutive seasons. However, getting blown out in the Play-In tournament in back-to-back seasons is what ultimately cost him his job. Even if Borrego doesn't land the job in Milwaukee, I don't think it will be too long before he gets another head coaching opportunity.
