Kemba Walker Chooses Where He Will Play in 2023-24

The former Charlotte Hornet has a new home.

Gordon Hayward (Hornets) and Paul George (Clippers) are the final two players remaining from the 2010 NBA Draft class.

Former face of the Hornets, Kemba Walker, recently held a workout for NBA teams in Las Vegas in hopes of rejoining his fellow classmates, but instead, he'll be heading overseas.

Friday morning, it was announced the Walker has signed a deal with A.S. Monaco Basket of the LNB Pro A League, the top league in Europe.

During his twelve years in the NBA, Walker averaged 19.3 points, 5.3 assists, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.2 steals per game, shooting the ball at a 41% clip from the field and 36% from three-point range.

He spent the first eight years of his career in the Queen City and holds the Hornets' franchise record for most points (12,009), minutes played (20,607), field goals (4,164), field goal attempts (9,962), 2-point field goals (6,373), 3-point field goals (1,283), and free throws (2,398).

It would have made for a cool story for Walker to return to the Hornets as a backup/mentor to LaMelo Ball, but the Hornets must have other options in mind.
