LaMelo Ball left Monday's game after a non-contact injury in the 3rd quarter with him seemingly grabbing his right ankle. Following the game Shams Charania confirmed he has fractured his right ankle, he is almost certainly out for the season.

Although this is devastating news for Charlotte and LaMelo Ball, it could have been worse. Whenever a player goes down with a non-contact injury the worst case scenario is an Achilles injury or knee ligaments. Although fractures sound bad, they often heal quicker and return to 100% strength. Assuming rehab goes well, LaMelo will likely be back on the court sometime in a 8-16 week period.
