Miles Bridges' Court Date Continued to February; Season Debut Set for Friday

New information on the Charlotte Hornets' forward.
In this story:

Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges was scheduled to appear at the Mecklenburg County Courthouse Monday morning. Bridges turned himself into the authorities in Lincoln County after being issued with a warrant for his arrest for violating a domestic violence protection order, misdemeanor child abuse and injury to personal properties.

Bridges' legal representatives filed for a motion last week to produce exculpatory evidence ahead of today's hearing. This motion suggests Bridges believes there is evidence which could exonerate him of guilt.

Today's hearing has been continued to February 20th, 2024, per court documents.

Bridges is set to make his 2023-24 season debut with the Hornets on Friday night against the Milwaukee Bucks.
