Rich Paul has been Bridges' agent since 2018

It appears Mitch Kupchak and the new Hornets ownership group aren't the only key decision makers involved in the Miles Bridges trade negotiations.

Vince Goodwill of Yahoo! Sports discussed the recent Miles Bridges trade rumors on the"Ball Don't Lie" podcast with fellow Yahoo! Sports basketball insider Jake Fischer.

"Rich Paul, who is Miles Bridges' agent, is going to control the process. Charlotte, from what I've heard, has asked some teams for; we want your best young player and a first round pick. Who can afford to give that up?"

Rich Paul, the founder of Klutch Sports Agency is one of the most prominent and powerful NBA agents in the league. It is well known in league circles that Klutch supported Bridges and stood bye him throughout his recent legal troubles. With Bridges having the ability to veto any trade due to playing on a qualifying offer, his agent Rich Paul will likely be very involved in trying to steer his client to a team of his choosing.
