Score Predictions for Hornets at Pistons
Ian Black: Hornets 122, Pistons 118
If you need any further indication as to how Charlotte’s season is going, they are underdogs on the road tonight against the league-worst 13-39 Pistons. These two teams had an exciting overtime game last time they met, and tonight should be another high octane affair.
James Plowright: Pistons 114, Hornets 107
Normally I would pick a Hornets win against this Cade-less Pistons team. However, I’ve flipped around my prediction solely on the basis of the schedule benefiting them. Due to the Thursday night postponement of the Pistons-Wizards game, Detroit comes in with two full days off where as the Hornets are on the second night of a back to back with having to travel in between. Put this one down as a schedule loss for Charlotte. Oh and refs, let’s start giving LaMelo some respect starting from now on, okay?
Desmond Johnson: Pistons 115, Hornets 112
It's a battle for who wants to stay out of the bottom three records in the league. The Hornets are on tail end of back-to-back and had a fast paced game vs the Bulls last night. Detroit doesn't have Cade Cunningham but they are at home. I'm going with the Pistons in a Friday night home game.
Matt Alquiza: Pistons 115, Hornets 108
Second night of a road back-to-back will be tough for the Hornets. Detroit is a slightly better team on both ends than Charlotte and they should come out victorious tonight in a battle for the bottom of the East.
Austin Leake: Hornets 124, Pistons 110
The Hornets seem to be playing a little bit better basketball as they’re healthier than they’ve been throughout most of the season. I believe the Pistons will out tank the Hornets tonight.
