The 2-6 Utah Jazz look to continue their four-game road trip tonight as they take on the 4-3 Indiana Pacers. This year has started super positively in Indiana, as they’ve started their first seven games over .500. Budding star G Tyrese Haliburton also seems to look better and better with each game.

The Jazz will have their hands full, but might also be losing one of their most important pieces. The team revealed that C Walker Kessler is listed as doubtful for Wednesday’s contest against the Pacers, eyeing his first missed game of the season. Rookie G Keyonte George is also posted on the report, however, he’s set to be probable to play with left foot soreness.

Utah also listed their usual inactives from the past few games in two-way players G Johnny Juzang, C Micah Potter, and G Josh Christopher, along with their rookies in F Taylor Hendricks and F Brice Sensabaugh on assignment with the Salt Lake City Stars.

As for the Pacers, the roster is set to be fully healthy and ready to go. Only their two-way players in G Kendall Brown, F Isaiah Wong, and C Oscar Tshiebwe are questionable to play.

It may be a bit of a challenge for the Jazz to recover the defensive impact Kessler brings to the table, as this team has already found some early struggles on that side of the ball during their first eight games. How HC Will Hardy makes adjustments to his lineup without The Sheriff will be a key factor in how this game plays out.

The Jazz will look to get back to speed after falling into a three-game skid to start the season on Wednesday night in Gainbridge Fieldhouse at 5 PM MT.
