Utah Jazz guard Mike Conley left after the first half of Game Five with right hamstring soreness. This has been a lingering issue throughout this season, and the injury decided to flare up once again for the Jazzman.

The team announced via twitter that an MRI showed that Conley suffered a right hamstring strain, and that he would be re-evaluated before Game One of the Western Conference Semifinals.

After Wednesday's Game Five against his former team, Conley spoke to the media regarding his injury.

Conley said, "“It’s playoffs so my mindset is I’ll be ready to play,” he continued. “We’re gonna just see what happens in next few days and be smart about how we approach it going into this next series.”

Thankfully for the Jazz, Conley, and Jazz faithful across the country, Utah was able to get the first round series win in five games, giving Conley a bit of extra time to heal up before the second round begins.

The Utah Jazz will take on either the Dallas Mavericks (3-2) or the Los Angeles Clippers (2-3) in the Western Conference Semifinals. Those two teams will play Game Six later this evening in Dallas. If the Mavericks win tonight's matchup, they will move on to play the Jazz. If the Clippers win, the series will go to a winner-take-all Game Seven in Los Angeles.
