Update: Game Six Recap
Game Six Recap:
The Utah Jazz looked like a well-oiled machine during the first half of Friday night's game. Donovan Mitchell played with a grit and determination that warrants a standing ovation, and Jordan Clarkson outscored the Clippers by himself in the second quarter. The Jazz took a 22-point lead into halftime with every ounce of Momentum in their favor. A long-range three pointer from Mitchell straight out of halftime to put the Jazz ahead by 25 made game seven feel like a certainty.
Unfortunately, the matchup once again was a tale of two halves. Utah gave up 81 points in the second half, while only scoring 47 of their own. Los Angeles would shoot 56.5% from the field and 51.3% from three point range, finishing with a 131-119 win.
Mitchell led the team in the final game of the season with 39-points, 9-assists, and 9-rebounds. On an injured leg nonetheless.
Clarkson and Royce O'Neale added 21-points a piece, and Bojan Bogdanovic chipped in 14 as well.
This one will hurt for a while Jazz fans.
Here's to a great year.
We'll look forward to cheering alongside all of you once again next season.
