Jazz Five Most Anticipated Home Games for 2023-24

Utah Jazz fans may want to get their tickets early for these five contests.

Utah Jazz fans have some time to get their tickets for the 2023-24 season, but as we inch closer to regular season play, some games will undoubtedly be more attractive than others.

Let’s look at five home games where Jazz fans would be wise to purchase their tickets sooner rather than later.

October 25 | Sacramento Kings

There’s nothing like the season opener, with the excitement of making the playoffs running high for all 30 NBA teams. This year Utah is fortunate to be starting the year in Salt Lake City versus a team that will be looking to improve on their first-round playoff dismissal last year.

Led by All-Star De’Aaron Fox, the Kings will give Utah an early test of where they stand in what’s anticipated a deep Western Conference.

November 17 | Phoenix Suns

The Delta Center will be packed when Utah plays their only game televised on ESPN versus the Suns in the in-season tournament. The oddsmakers have the Suns with the third-best odds to take home the title at season's end.

Household names Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal will be a handful to deal with, but it being a game televised on the NBA’s biggest stage bodes well for a home team not accustomed to the national spotlight. The Jazz should be pumped to put on quite a show.

February 14 | Los Angeles Lakers

Could this possibly be LeBron James’ last game played at the Delta Center? There’s no guarantee King James will be back, even though his current contract runs through the 2025 season.

Unfortunately, the Lakers could choose to rest James due to it being the last game before the All-Star break. That said, the ticket could end up being a Jazz collector's item if this ends up being the last season James laces them up in Utah.

March 15 | Atlanta Hawks

Former head coach Quinn Snyder will be coming back to Salt Lake for the first time since joining the Hawks last season. Also, Jazz forward John Collins will be looking to serve the team that drafted him a piece of humble pie.

Collins was on the trade block for the last two years in Atlanta and should be motivated to show his old team they made an error when they shipped him to Utah for next to nothing.

April 2 | Cleveland Cavaliers

This list wouldn't be complete without ex-Jazzman Donovan Mitchell's yearly visit to his old team. The Jazz fan base is a divided bunch in regard to whether Mitchell deserves a warm welcome, but if his appearance repeats what happened last year, the cheering fans should outdraw the fans who are still not happy about the breakup.

The Cavaliers game is scheduled with only seven games left in the year and could have playoff implications for both sides.
