With four games left in the season, the Sacramento Kings have the opportunity to fight for a playoff berth but currently sit still in the play-in tournament. In eighth place in the West, the Kings remain just one game behind the Phoenix Suns and New Orleans Pelicans, who are tied for sixth.

The Kings have been trending downward after injuries to guards Kevin Huerter and Malik Monk, and winning just three of their last six games is not ideal as the playoffs approach. After beating the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday, the Kings travel to take on the third-place Oklahoma City Thunder, looking for a statement road win.

The last time the Kings won a game without then winning a second consecutive game was March 1, over a month ago. The odd trend of Sacramento winning two straight games and then losing the third is not an ideal way to go about their schedule, but the Kings can hope the outlandish pattern continues on Tuesday night.

Both teams have released their Injury Reports ahead of Tuesday's matchup in Oklahoma City:

Sacramento Kings:

Kevin Huerter - OUT (shoulder)

Malik Monk - OUT (knee)

Keegan Murray - QUESTIONABLE (calf)

Oklahoma City Thunder:

Gordon Hayward - OUT (leg)

Jalen Williams - QUESTIONABLE (ankle)

As expected, the Kings will be without Monk and Huerter, but the addition of Keegan Murray to the Injury Report raises concern. The standout sophomore's status is in the air for Tuesday's marquee matchup due to left calf soreness, as Sacramento fans must hope Murray is good to go in Oklahoma City.

The Thunder's Injury Report poses a similar issue, as their star sophomore Jalen Williams is given a questionable status. The 23-year-old wing has missed Oklahoma City's last four games with a sprained ankle and could miss his fifth straight.

The Kings and Thunder have met three times this season, with Sacramento winning two. The consistent star of the show has been Oklahoma City's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, averaging 38.0 points, 7.0 assists, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.7 steals. SGA has missed six of the last seven games with a quad injury but is set to return to action on Tuesday night.

The Kings must do everything they can to pull out a statement road win, as every game matters for the Sacramento squad on the brink of the playoffs.
