Injury Report Revealed Ahead of Sunday’s Kings vs. Lakers Duel
The Sacramento Kings are entering tonight’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers hoping to get on the positive side of .500 after beginning the season 1-1. Thankfully, the team looks fairly healthy entering Sunday’s bout with eyes set on a bounce-back win.
According to the injury report, F Trey Lyles remains the only player standing on the Kings’ inactive list. Lyles has been sidelined since Sacramento’s season opener against the Utah Jazz and is now eyeing his third-straight absence against Los Angeles. However, all other aspects of the roster remain clean.
As for the Lakers, a few more names are on their list. For starters, rookie G Jalen Hood-Schifino is listed as out with a right patella contusion, along with F Jarred Vanderbilt set to miss the action as well with left heel bursitis. F Cam Reddish is also placed onto the injury report with right foot soreness, but his probable status provides some optimism surrounding his outlook.
While neither team is completely 100%, we will at least have the benefit of watching each team’s stars on the front stage competing, headlined by LeBron James and Anthony Davis. The Kings' defense will continue to be put to the test against one of the more substantial threats in the conference.
The Kings will have the opportunity to get their first win at the Golden One Center and light the first beam of the year on Sunday at 6 PM PT.
