The Sacramento Kings have stayed one of the most inconsistent teams across the league this season, as whenever they seem to find their groove, they fall right back into a slump. The month of March has been nice to them, as the Kings have won eight of 12 games, including wins over the Minnesota Timberwolves, Los Angeles Lakers (2x), Milwaukee Bucks, and Orlando Magic.

Monday night, the Kings have the opportunity to add to their array of March wins, hosting the talented Philadelphia 76ers. The Kings and 76ers have faced off once this season, where the Sixers came out on top 112-93 in Philadelphia, despite superstar big man Joel Embiid sidelined.

The Kings will face a similar situation on Monday night, as Embiid remains out due to a serious knee injury suffered earlier this year. The 76ers are on the second leg of a back-to-back after picking up a road win against the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday, giving the Kings an obvious rest advantage. Despite Sacramento dealing with their own handful of injuries, the Kings must take advantage of a weakened Philly squad at home.

Both teams have released their Injury Reports ahead of Monday's matchup:

Sacramento Kings:

Kevin Huerter - OUT (shoulder)

Trey Lyles - OUT (knee)

Sasha Vezenkov - QUESTIONABLE (ankle)

Philadelphia 76ers:

Joel Embiid - OUT (knee)

Robert Covington - OUT (knee)

De'Anthony Melton - OUT (back)

Kelly Oubre Jr. - QUESTIONABLE (shoulder)

The Kings sit seventh in the Western Conference, half a game behind the sixth-place Phoenix Suns. With just 12 games remaining in the regular season, every win matters, and the Kings must pick up the win over a shorthanded Sixers team before they head into a tough remaining schedule.

After missing 26 of the last 28 games, Sacramento's Sasha Vezenkov is inching closer to his return. With the first-year forward back at practice, it is only a matter of time before Brown puts him back in the lineup. With Kevin Huerter and Trey Lyles each suffering long-term injuries, the Kings need the shooting ability that Vezenkov brings off the bench.

In January's meeting, it was Tobias Harris who took charge for Philadelphia, dropping a season-high 37 points, while De'Aaron Fox led Sacramento with 21. Regardless of who is active or sidelined, the Kings and 76ers will likely put on a show with both teams feeling the heat of the Play-In Tournament on their backs.

The Kings and 76ers tip off at 7 PM PT.
