The Sacramento Kings have been at the center of many trade rumors over the past two months, but the league has made it to the trade deadline, and Sacramento has yet to make a move. As the hours tick down, many Kings fans wonder if Monte McNair and the front office have anything in store.

Many Kings fans have been calling Sacramento to make a move, as the current team is not built for a playoff run that extends past the second round. With the top four teams in the Western Conference practically locked in, the Kings would be at a disadvantage for any first-round playoff series.

The Kings should be searching the trade market for a player who moves the needle, but from the sounds of it, that player has not come up.

The Washington Wizards have reportedly taken Kyle Kuzma off the market entirely, per Marc Stein, despite the Kings being heavily linked to the talented wing. Similarly, the Portland Trail Blazers have reportedly declined any offer made by Sacramento for Jerami Grant, per James Ham of The Kings Beat.

The Kings have also been linked to Brooklyn Nets duo Dorian Finney-Smith and Royce O'Neale, but Brooklyn seems to be asking for too much in return for the Kings liking.

Another prime trade target for Sacramento has been Chicago Bulls' Alex Caruso, but the reported asking price could "exceed two first-round picks," per the Los Angeles Times, and the Kings do not have a plethora of assets to throw around.

The Kings will likely stand pat at the trade deadline unless they can find a minor deal to get off of backup point guard Davion Mitchell or backup wing Chris Duarte. Kings fans should not expect much to come from Thursday's noon PT deadline, but anything can happen.

Sacramento's current lineup of De'Aaron Fox, Kevin Huerter, Keegan Murray, Harrison Barnes, and Domantas Sabonis, with Malik Monk and Trey Lyles coming off the bench has been effective, but the depth outside of that core raises concerns. Do not expect any moves to be made by the deadline, but a busy off-season could be in store for Sacramento.
