The New York Knicks have dealt with injuries galore throughout the season, but they are getting a little bit healthier going into the playoffs.

Among those injured for most of the season was starting center Mitchell Robinson, but he experienced a setback in Sunday's game against the Chicago Bulls when he didn't appear in the second half. However, The Athletic's Fred Katz is reporting that Robinson is good to go for Saturday's Game 1 against either the Miami Heat or Philadelphia 76ers.

"Mitchell Robinson went through all of practice today, Tom Thibodeau said. He said Robinson is fine after sitting out the second half of the game Sunday," Katz tweeted.

Robinson, 26, averaged 5.6 points and 8.5 rebounds this season in 31 appearances for the Knicks. In the 10 games he played after returning from his ankle injury, he came off the bench in favor of Isaiah Hartenstein, who filled Robinson's starter role when he was out.

With coach Thibodeau's tighter playoff rotations, it remains to be seen what role Robinson would play if healthy, but having any form of depth will be crucial for the Knicks.

Robinson and the Knicks will make their 2024 playoffs debut against the winner of tonight's Play-In Tournament game between the Heat and 76ers. Tipoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. ET.
