The New York Knicks and Rangers hope to be moving on up, but their season ticket prices won't be.

A report from Larry Brooks of the New York Post stated that, despite the ongoing success of its primary tenants, Madison Square Garden will not raise season-ticket prices for Knicks and Rangers games next season.

“We are pleased to offer our loyal Knicks and Rangers season ticket members no price increase for their 2024-25 season tickets," an MSG spokesperson said in an accompanying statement in Brooks' report, confirming the news.

According to Brooks, the Knicks and Rangers have often avoided charging more for season tickets if one or both miss the playoffs. One less charge is only set to add the good vibes New Yorkers are hoping to enjoy this spring.

Though they've lost three in a row, the Knicks continue to linger in the upper half of the Eastern Conference playoff picture, holding fifth entering Wednesday night play. The Rangers currently have the most points in the National Hockey League and became the first team to officially clinch a spot in the Stanley Cup Playoffs thanks to a win over the Philadelphia Flyers last week.

MSG hasn't been double-booked for the NBA/NHL playoffs in consecutve seasons since 2011-13. Both teams have nationally-televised challenges at MSG on the immediate road ahead: ice will be laid down on Wednesday night the Rangers face the rival New Jersey Devils (7 p.m. ET, TNT) while the Knicks close out their regular season interconference slate against Sacramento on Thursday (7:30 p.m. ET, TNT).
