LeBron Reveals View of Lakers' Signing Knicks Ex Cam Reddish

The Lakers have had Cam Reddish on their radar for a quite a while now. And who might be involved in those efforts? It seems like the legendary LeBron is a supporter of the signing of the Knicks ex.

Cam Reddish - seemingly forever a player the Los Angeles Lakers have coveted - has finally landed in LaLa Land ... and LeBron James seems quite happy about it.

The former Duke standout has taken a twisted path to the purple and gold, with Reddish now having signed a two-year deal (worth just $4.6 million) with the franchise after a short stint with the New York Knicks that did not go well.

New York moved him to the Portland Trail Blazers at the NBA trade deadline in February after he fell out of Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau's rotation. Reddich averages 11 points per game in 20 outings in Portland, but that wasn't enough to earn him a qualifying offer this summer, which made him an unrestricted free agent.

The Lakers have had the 6-8 Reddish on their radar for quite a while now but efforts to get him never quite worked out. ... until now. And who might be involved in those efforts? It seems like the legendary LeBron is a supporter of the acquisition, and of all the Lakers' many moves in the opening days of free agency as he has put on social media a collage of all the signees, including Cam wearing his No. 0 Knicks jersey ... complete with an "hour-glass'' emoji suggesting he can't wait for the 2023-24 season to begin.

Reddish, 23, was once a guy who merited being selected 10th overall in the 2019 NBA Draft, and in L.A., he probably is viewed as a reclamation project as part of the back of the rotation behind James and Anthony Davis. But Cam is joining LeBron about being happy about the weekend move, writing on social media, "Lakeshow - God is Great.''
