Most feel refreshed and renewed upon awakening from a nap, hence why Josh Hart decided to get one in before he and the New York Knicks face the Indiana Pacers on Saturday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse (7 p.m. ET, MSG).

It appears the Knicks' roster managers had a similar idea.

Per reports from Adrian Wojnarowski and Shams Charania, the Knicks are set to trade RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley to the Toronto Raptors for a three-part yield headlined by OG Anunoby. The deal bids farewell to two metropolitan staples and one of the Knicks' last homegrown faces in their rotation.

Hart was likely quickly (pun intended) snapped from his grogginess with news of the deal, expressing his shock in an X post shortly after reports were announced.

"What I wake up to?" Hart rhetorically asked, his prompt answered by both supporters and detractors of the trade. The forward later took to Instagram to bid farewell to Barrett and his fellow reserve Quickley, posting a photo of the departed pair on his story (h/t New York Basketball on X).

So far, Quickley is the only participant who has responded to the deal, appearing equally shellshocked in an X post of his own.

"Oh my goodness ...." Quickley declared as he learned of the first transfer of his NBA career, which began as a Knicks first-round draft pick in 2020. The most recent Sixth Man of the Year runner-up also jumped on Instagram to offer thoughts on the news, calling his move "GodsPlan" in a response to Bleacher Report's story on the deal (h/t New York Basketball on X).

Hart and Knicks fans won't have to wait long for a reunion: the Raptors are set to visit Madison Square Garden on Jan. 20.
