In this story:

It's no longer Christmas in July but New York Knicks fans but a bit of a holiday nonetheless lingers.

Metropolitan stars Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart will return to the hardwood on Monday night as part of Team USA's continued preparation for the upcoming FIBA World Cup. With the business trip to Asia looming in two-plus weeks, Brunson, Hart, and the rest of the Americans will embark upon an international tour on their way to Pasay, where they'll compete in Group C play in Greece. Jordan, and New Zealand.

The tour tips off on Monday in Las Vegas against Puerto Rico and the full schedule is listed below ...

8/7: Puerto Rico (@ Las Vegas, NV)

(10 p.m. ET, FS1)

Puerto Rico is on its way to Quezon City to partake in Group B action alongside China, Serbia, and South Sudan. Due to lingering injury issues, Los Gallos will be missing New Orleans Pelicans shooter Jose Alvarado as they look to build on a 15th-place finish in the 2019 World Cup in China.

8/12: Slovenia (@ Malaga, ESP)

(3:30 p.m. ET, FS1)

Those awaiting Jalen Brunson's next matchup against close friend and former Dallas Mavericks teammate Luka Donćić won't have to be as patient for the NBA schedule's release, as Slovenia faces the Amercians in Spain. Despite not qualifying for the last World Cup, Slovenia placed fourth in the most recent Olympics tournament in 2021 behind Dončić's efforts.

8/13: Spain (@ Malaga, ESP)

(3:30 p.m. ET, Fox)

Team USA will play a road game en route to Asia, facing off the defending World Cup champions. Former Knick Willy Hernangomez will be among those helping "La Roja" protect its title, as will his brother Juancho, best known for his starring role in the 2022 Adam Sandler Netflix drama "Hustle."

8/18: Greece (@ Abu Dhabi, UAE)

(12 p.m. ET, Fox)

The Americans will get to face one of their Group C competitors, likely their biggest challenge to quartet supremacy, in the first half of a doubleheader in Abu Dhabi to close things out. Greek basketball, of course, is best known for unleashing NBA MVP and champion Giannis Antetokounmpo unto the world, He and his brother (and brief Knick) Thanasis will be in tow as the Official Beloved look to recover from an 11-place finish in China.

8/20: Germany (@ Abu Dhabi, UAE)

(12 p.m. ET, Fox)

Brunson will face another former Dallas teammate in the exhibition finale, as Maxi Kleber is one of several current NBA reps on the German group (also including Indiana's Daniel Theis, Toronto's Dennis Schröder, and Orlando's Franz and Moritz Wagner). Die Mannschaft has struggled since earning a bronze medal at the American edition of the World Cup in 2002, placing no better than eighth in three subsequent appearances (missing the 2014 edition in Spain entirely).

Team USA will officially begin World Cup play on Aug. 26 against New Zealand.
