Oh, Baby! Josh Hart Welcomes Sons, In Knicks Lineup For Game 6 vs. Heat

Josh Hart is partaking in the New York Knicks' fate sixth game against the Miami Heat in the NBA Playoffs, but he would've had the perfect excuse to miss it.
In this story:

No matter what happens to the New York Knicks over the rest of these NBA Playoffs, Josh Hart will have his hands full by the end, even if championship jewelry isn't heading his way.

According to ESPN's Malika Andrews, Hart nearly returned to New York before the Knicks tipped off against the Miami Heat for Game 6 of their Eastern Conference Semifinals series, as his wife Shannon was prepared to give birth to twins. Hart was, in fact, on his way to the airport (with the Knicks having prepared a variety of private air travel for Hart to join his family at the hospital).

En route, however, Hart was informed that he would not make it in time and he returned to the Knicks' hotel. The team set him up on Zoom so he could partake remotely.

Andrew reported that Shannon gave birth to a pair of twin boys at 2:30 p.m. ET, both of whom are "healthy and doing well." She also said that Hart will leave Kaseya Center immediately after the game ends no matter the result and board a plane back to New York to join Shannon and their new additions.

While Hart has struggled in the series against the Heat, many agree that the Knicks would not have made it this far had he not arrived from Portland in a trade deadline deal in February. Including playoffs, the Knicks are 23-11 when Hart takes the floor in blue and orange this season.
