LISTEN: All Knicks Previews Knicks-Heat, Julius Randle Injury Impact, & More
With nearly one round complete, the one certainty about the NBA Playoffs is that there are no certainties.
That certainly applies to the New York Knicks' upcoming Eastern Conference semifinal series against the Miami Heat, which features the rare case of a fifth-seed gaining homecourt advantage this early on. Such a staging comes after the Knicks downed the Cleveland Cavaliers in five games during the opening round, which featured a matching five-game victory from the Play-In Tournament victors from Miami over top-ranked Milwaukee.
Game 1 is scheduled for Sunday afternoon at Madison Square Garden (1 p.m. ET, ABC).
In anticipation of the rebooted rivalry, as the Knicks and Heat are set to do postseason battle for the sixth time, All Knicks editor and lead contributor Geoff Magliocchetti joined 104.5 The Team, ESPN's Albany affiliate (WTMM) and spoke with Dan Bahl and Charlie Voelker on Friday's edition of the afternoon program "The Drive with Charlie and Dan" about the conference semifinal showdown.
