The New York Knicks will play in front of a national audience 25 times in the 2023-24 season.
In this story:

All eyes are literally set to be on the New York Knicks in the 2023-24 NBA season. The Knicks have the New York market, which has always given them national exposure, but now the team is among the top contenders in the Eastern Conference, giving the league even more reason to put them in front of a bigger audience.

Upon the initial release of next season's regular season schedule, the Knicks rank sixth in the NBA with 20 nationally-televised games, 25 if games on NBA TV are included The only teams with more appearances in that category include the Golden State Warriors (28), Los Angeles Lakers (27), Boston Celtics (25), Phoenix Suns (25) and the defending NBA champion Denver Nuggets (21).

Among those games includes the team's season opener on Oct. 25 against the Celtics, the team's NBA Cup opener (Nov. 3) and Christmas Day contest against Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks, and both meetings with Stephen Curry, Chris Paul, and the Warriors on Feb. 29 and Mar. 18, the latter serving as Donte DiVincenzo's return to the Bay Area.

With more notoriety comes pressure and exposure, and if the Knicks don't perform up to par, everyone is going to know about it, only adding the heat to the seats of the top people within the organization, including coach Tom Thibodeau, among others.
