It'll be a long way home for the New York Liberty, but they'll at least be bringing home one of the sweetest of souvenirs home with them from the Pacific Northwest.

The Liberty ended their longest road trip of the season to date in style, leading wire-to-wire in an 81-66 victory over the Seattle Storm in the capper of a three-game stretch.

Back in Seattle as an opponent for the second time this season, Breanna Stewart got things rolling by scoring 14 of their 20 points in the opening frame and further filled the statsheet with eight rebounds, six assists, and five steals. Fellow historic newcomer Courtney Vandersloot put in 18 points and dished out 12 assists to further pad her WNBA-leading tally. Those helpers were part of a distribution showcase that saw the Liberty earn 29 assists on 33 successful field goal.

Thanks to their efforts and more, the Liberty (11-4) got back in the win column after Thursday's loss to Las Vegas, leading by as much as 22 in keeping their streak of avoiding consecutive losses alive.

Jewell Loyd, currently besting Stewart in the 1-2 punch for the WNBA scoring lead, had 27 in defeat as the Storm (4-12) came as close as nine in the second half. Seattle will come to Brooklyn next weekend for the first of two metropolitan showdowns.

The Liberty will have a chance to start a new winning streak on Wednesday night when they welcome the Phoenix Mercury to Barclays Center for the second time this season (7 p.m. ET, YES/Twitter).
