Lakers Injury Report: Status For Gabe Vincent Against Nets Revealed

The Los Angeles Lakers will be getting a big boost today against the Brooklyn Nets. Point guard Gabe Vincent is active for the first time in months, as he makes his return to the court.

Vincent has played in just five games this season, but his presence will be a welcomed sight to the lineup. The team has missed a point-of-attack defender all year long, so getting Vincent back is huge.

The Lakers signed Vincent over the summer to be their backup point guard, but injuries have taken their toll. If he can give them an extra body to use down the stretch, it could be a major gain for this Los Angeles team with the playoffs starting soon.

Vincent was very good in the playoffs last season for the Miami Heat, making clutch three-point shots and playing solid defense. If he can bring that type of production to the Lakers, they may have a chance to shock everyone on their way to trying to bring home another title.
