Lakers News: LeBron James Sneaks Onto An LA Top 10 List — After Only 6 Seasons!
Over the last few seasons, the Los Angeles Lakers have gone through some major up and downs. After winning the title in 2020, the team has proceeded to be bounced out in the first round, not make the postseason at all and make a deep playoff run to the Western Conference Finals.
It has been a whirlwind of late, but the proud, historic franchise feels good about where they are currently. They are led by the likes of LeBron James and Anthony Davis, both of whom are putting together strong seasons once again.
Despite being in year 21 of his NBA career, James has continued to show dominance at the highest level. His longevity is something to behold and the Lakers are glad he is on the team.
James has spent six seasons with the franchise and has already cemented himself within multiple records. After the team's game on Wednesday evening, you can add James to another category, top-10 in all-time assists for the Lakers.
For all the history that the Lakers franchise has seen, it's incredible that James has found his way into the top 10 already. But it shows how special of a player he truly is.
James has carried this Lakers team each season he has been on the roster, showing his greatness. He makes everyone around him better and cemented his legacy as one of the best players to ever put on the Purple and Gold jersey.
But there is still work to be done, as the Lakers are fighting for their playoff lives right now. While their record doesn't reflect it, many of the top teams in the Western Conference have no desire to see Los Angeles early in the postseason. They seem ready to potentially go on another playoff run, hopefully, ending in another championship this time.
