Lakers Injury Report: 2 Pelicans Starters Questionable Vs LA

Can the Lake Show rebound after last night's loss?

In a possible stroke of luck for a Los Angeles Lakers team playing on the second night of a back-to-back, tonight's opponent may be without two of its most formidable starters.

Per the NBA's latest injury report, New Orleans Pelicans power forward Zion Williamson and center Jonas Valanciunas may sit tonight.

Valanciunas is dealing with a right calf contusion, while Williams has a left foot bone bruise. Reserve center Cody Zeller is available, but will be playing in a face mask. Naji Marshall is questionable with a low back spasm.

On the Lakers side, Los Angeles' own starting power forward and center are, as usual, questionable to play. All-Star center Anthony Davis has a bilateral Achilles tendinopathy and a left hip spasm, while All-Star power forward LeBron James is dealing with a left ankle peroneal tendinopathy. Shooting guard Max Christie, who rolled his right ankle upon landing awkwardly on Reggie Jackson's foot, is doubtful for tonight. Small forward Cam Reddish (right ankle sprain), point guard Gabe Vincent (left knee surgery), and power forward Jarred Vanderbilt (right mid-foot sprain) are all out.
