Lakers Injury Report: Anthony Davis Status Vs Jazz Announced

Will LA be without both its All-Stars tonight?

With All-Star Los Angeles Lakers power forward LeBron James already resting his weary bones ahead of tonight's bout against the Utah Jazz, the status of LA's other All-Star, center Anthony Davis, was scarily questionable heading into the evening.

Now, at least, we have some clarity on his availability against the West's No. 11 seed, which even on the road should be a winnable contest.

Per Jovan Buha of The Athletic, Davis has indeed been cleared to suit up for Los Angeles.

Davis has been dominant across the Lakers' season series against Utah thus far this year, despite the club boasting impressive size and depth in its frontcourt (as, indeed, does Los Angeles). He's averaging 20.5 points, 15.5 rebounds, 7.5 assists, and three blocks in LA's two meetings with the Jazz in 2023-24, both Lakers wins.
