It appears your spiraling Los Angeles Lakers could be without a critical (to Darvin Ham, if not to the rest of us) rotation piece for at least a week, as their injury troubles pile up.

Per Dave McMenamin of Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, veteran LA small forward Cam Reddish is expected to be sidelined for "a few games" due to a lingering sore left knee.

Reddish has been toggled all over the team's roster. He has started 26 of his 33 games during his inaugural season with the Lakers.

The 6'8" wing is averaging 6.5 points, 2.4 boards, 1.4 assists and 1.2 steals with the club.

Ham values Reddish for his key defensive contributions, probably to a fault. His vulnerabilities as a shooter seemingly demoted him back to Ham's bench recently, although he became a spot starter when Rui Hachimura missed five games with a calf injury of his own. With Hachimura back for Saturday's 132-125 loss to the Utah Jazz, Ham astoundingly opted to start Reddish over him once again for some reason.

This injury will force Ham's hand a bit, at least with regards to Reddish. Here's hoping Ham doesn't start another non-shooting forward, Jarred Vanderbilt, over Hachimura moving forward.
