Lakers Injury Report: Rui Hachimura Out At Least 1 Week After Procedure

Los Angeles Lakers reserve power forward Rui Hachimura was dealt a blow on Wednesday. He suffered a nasal fracture in LA's eventual 104-101 loss to the Dallas Mavericks Wednesday, per Jovan Buha of The Athletic.
Buha adds that Hachimura had a procedure to fix the fracture. He is set to have the nose reappraised by the club's medical staff in a week. That doesn't mean he'll actually be back on the hardwood for Los Angeles a week from now, rather that the progress of his healing will be assessed.
With Jarred Vanderbilt still sidelined due to his left heel bursitis, Lakers head coach Darvin Ham may need to get a bit creative with the end of his club's rotation. His starting frontcourt of forwards Taurean Prince and LeBron James, plus center Anthony Davis, will presumably remain unchanged. He'll probably need to play Christian Wood more minutes at the four. Jaxson Hayes may even need to get some run at the power forward spot.
Across his 12 healthy games for Los Angeles, the 6'8" big man out of Gonzaga is averaging 11.8 points on .505/.429/.786 shooting splits, 3.8 rebounds, one assist, and 0.9 steals per bout.
