Lakers Injury Report: Update on Anthony Davis' Apparent Back Injury

The injury seems less severe than it originally seemed.

In the last few minutes of LA's win over the New Orleans Pelicans, Anthony Davis exited with an apparent back injury, walking gingerly to the scorer's table.

He was able to walk off on his own power which is generally a good look, but back injuries can be both tricky and nagging. After getting to the table, he used the support of it to plop down, before entering the locker room.

Hip and back spasms can certainly nag, but neither should be long-term injuries. He'll presumably undergo some testing, with further evaluation providing an official diagnosis.
