Lakers News: Vanessa Bryant Honors Kobe by Gifting Dodgers Themed Shoes to Team
Vanessa Bryant gifted the Los Angeles Dodgers a pair of "Dodgers" Nike Kobe 6 PEs on Saturday in honor of "Mamba Day".
April 13 marks the eighth anniversary of the late great Kobe Bryant playing in the final NBA game of his career. In true Kobe fashion, the Hall of Famer dropped 60 points in his finale against the Utah Jazz.
The entire Dodger team received a pair of custom Kobes, including superstar Mookie Betts and manager Dave Roberts. Betts said he was going to wear them every day, and Roberts said, "These are ridiculous. I'm going to rock these with Mamba pride."
The club posted a thank-you message to Vanessa and shared an Instagram video of the players opening their new custom Dodger Kobes.
Kobe Bryant passed away on January 26, 2020, in a helicopter crash. His passing impacted the sports world like no other. However, his legacy is as strong as it was when he was with us, and the city of Los Angeles always does their best to carry it.
Now, how could I get a pair of those shoes for myself?
