Lakers News: Analyst Identifies LeBron James' Most Impressive Achievement

The LA All-Star continues to impress experts 20 years into his Hall of Fame career.

PIX 11 lead sports anchor Marc Malusis recently spoke with Brandon "Scoop B" Robinson of Bovada Sports about a wide variety of topics, but of particular note to Lakers fans was their conversation regarding LA great LeBron James, and how he truly has no equal across other sports, in terms of both expectations

"You talked about the LeBron James comparison in major league baseball," Robinson noted. "Is there such a thing in football?"

"[Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick] Mahomes maybe," Malusis said. "He's different. See it's hard to compare it because nobody had the expectation of LeBron, like, that's the difference. You know this Brandon, better than anybody. LeBron at 14 or 15 was expected to be what he is and to have those expectations on your shoulder as a teenager and then to step into the league and be all that and more and be that generational talent adds another level to it."

James continues to defy expectations even in his NBA dotage. 20 seasons into his career, he led his team in scoring (at 28.9 points per game), passing (6.8 assists per game), and offensive box plus-minus (5.5), while making his 19th All-Star team and helping Los Angeles achieve a 43-39 record and a return to the playoffs.
