The excuses never end with Ham.

The Lakers have now dropped 8 straight games to the Denver Nuggets, including a 4-game sweep in the Western Conference Finals. Darvin Ham's squad has yet to find any sort of sustainable answer to Nikola Jokic and co., with every game seemingly having the same script.

LA typically keeps it close, often even having the lead, for the first 40 minutes of the game, but in the final 8, disaster ensues, and Denver goes to their historically good 2-man game between Murray and Jokic, locks in on defense, putting LA away.

At some point, LA should develop an answer. Losing 7 straight to any team is inexcusable, as among talented teams around the league, it's nearly impossible for any team to lose to another that many times consecutively, especially with the same script every time.

But, Darvin Ham seemingly has no actual plan to develop an answer. Here's what he had to say instead, (per Jovan Buha of The Athletic):

“You’ve gotta fight as much as you can, as hard as you can and hope that he misses,” Ham said. “… You just gotta keep throwing stuff at them. Obviously, we won’t see them again this season, but it’s a good game to learn from. At some point, we’ll overcome what we’re going through with this team.”

Ham's comment is incredibly generic and offers little optimism, as the final sentence of his quote makes it sound like they have no idea of what to do, and are essentially blindly approaching the situation going forward. They don't have another matchup scheduled for the regular season, but they could easily match up in the first round of the playoffs if LA even makes it there. If they do, it'll be impossible to have much, if any confidence in LA.
