The last time Los Angeles Lakers center Anthony Davis sat out a Houston Rockets game, things didn't go so well

It seems pretty possible that The Brow will be available tonight, for the two team's final matchup of the 2022-23 NBA season, though he is officially listed as "probable" to suit up tonight.

Davis rolled his ankle during the second half of the Lakers' 123-111 comeback victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves Friday, but ultimately stayed in the game to notch a 38-point, 17-rebound night while leading his club to a huge win over a direct Western Conference play-in tournament competitor.

Los Angeles head coach Darvin Ham revealed after the win in postgame comments to reporters that his star big man was already on the mend.

"He's good," Ham said at the time. "He powered through, got him out of there [after he first incurred the ailment], got him in the [team locker room], already started the process of trying to treat that issue. I think it's just a twisted ankle. but our medical staff is on him right now with that."

Davis is averaging 38 points on 60.9% field goal shooting, 13 rebounds, two blocks, two assists and 1.5 steals through the first two contests of this five-game road trip thus far. Suffice it to say, he'd probably help LA avoid a repeat of last month's embarrassment tonight.
