In this story:

Following a blowout victory over the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday evening, one would think that the Los Angeles Lakers players could be happy. However, it seemed that a few were far from it.

Despite dropping 34 points and eight assists, point guard D'Angelo Russell was at the center of some drama after the game. It was revealed that the guard had unfollowed the Lakers on social media.

Now this isn't a major cause for concern, but with all of the trade rumors available involving Russell, it does make you think.

Russell has been at the center of criticism since he rejoined the Lakers last year at the trade deadline. He resigned over the offseason, but with the behind-the-scenes idea that he would be traded this year.

Unfollowing the team is a little strange, but players do all sorts of things with their social media accounts. But it was also his body language during a blowout that was a little suspicious.

The same goes for forward Rui Hachimura, who has also been in trade talks around the league.

This is probably nothing more than us reading too much into everything, but the timing is interesting. With the trade deadline approaching in a few weeks, both players could be on the move.

The Lakers season has been full of ups and downs, and something needs to be done. The front office has been active in their discussions around the league, and players have been at the center of it all.

It can heavily weigh on guys with the deadline approaching and possibly could impact their performance on the floor. However, for now, both are members of the team, and they will do whatever they can to help Los Angeles win games.
