Austin Reaves is on a roll.

Your Los Angeles Lakers' new starting shooting guard has enjoyed a terrific last 10 games for LA, averaging 18.4 points on .541/.355/.827 shooting splits, 5.8 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 0.6 steals a night, in just 29.6 minutes per.

Across his last two games, both Los Angeles wins, Reaves scored 35 and 25 points and chipped in an average of 8.5 dimes.

In a new piece, Yosi Gozlan of HoopsHype is taking a look at what could be ahead for Reaves, a restricted free agent this summer surely in line for some level of a raise.

At most, LA could maximally re-sign him to a four-year, $51 million deal, though it also would be able to match a pricier offer tendered by another club (maximally, a four-year, $98.7 million contract, though I doubt even the most optimistic team would go quite that far), thanks to the wonky Gilbert Arenas provision in the current CBA.

Gozlan expects "just about every team with cap space this summer" to consider adding Reaves, including the Houston Rockets, Orlando Magic, Oklahoma City Thunder, Charlotte Hornets, San Antonio Spurs, and Utah Jazz.

Last night in a win against the Phoenix Suns, Reaves supplanted Malik Beasley in head coach Darvin Ham's adjusted starting lineup, surely a reward for his 35-point outburst against the Orlando Magic Sunday. He responded with a 25-point, 11-assist double-double, seemingly solidifying his role with the team going forward this season.
