The season before the season is a time for basketball teams to decide where they are as a unit and determine who will be apart of the team going forward.

This is a time for coaches to get familiar with their players and team chemistry to be built.

Now we know when the 2023-24 NBA preseason will take place.

The NBA announced on Wednesday the full preseason schedule for this.

Your Los Angeles Lakers will play six preseason games over a two week span before its opening night game against the defending champion Nuggets.

Throughout the six games, the Lakers will play games in five different cities across California and Nevada.

They will open the preseason in San Francisco on October 7th against the Golden State Warriors.

The next two games for the Lakers will be in non traditional basketball markets as they will take on the Nets in Las Vegas and the Kings in Anaheim.

Fans will be able to see the Lakers in the Crypto.com Arena for the first time in 2023-2024 season on October 13th as they will have a rematch with the Warriors.

Two days later the Lakers will be right back at Cryto.com Arena to play the Bucks.

The preseason finale for the Lakers will take place in Palm Springs at the brand new Acrisure Arena. The Suns will meet them there for the final tune up before the real thing starts.

On X, formerly known as Twitter, fans can check out the preseason schedule for every team.

By the time the final horn sounds in Palm Springs, fans and players will all have an idea of who will play for the Lake Show and what to expect.
