There are a lot of people around the NBA who still can't believe that the Los Angeles Lakers were able to get Luka Doncic in a trade. It was something so shocking and unexpected that it was almost incomprehensible.

The Dallas Mavericks have been getting killed by everyone else around the league for making this move. Even their own fans are angry with them for trading away the face of the franchise.

The deal has gone in opposite directions for each team. Anthony Davis got hurt in his first game while Doncic has given the Lakers a whole new ceiling.
