Lakers News: How NBA 2K24 Is Paying Tribute To Kobe Bryant With Special Options

The latest edition of the popular NBA 2K game franchise will be dropping soon, and NBA fans couldn’t be more excited. This year, the video game will be honoring the late Hall of Fame Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard Kobe Bryant as he graces the cover.

There will be the regular Kobe Bryant version of the game and then the ultimate Black Mamba version. As usual, 2K creates two versions of the game to sell with extra bonus prizes and upgrades in one of them.

In the game, players will be able to play in what the game is calling “Mamba Moments”, where you can recreate different historic moments from Bryant’s career.

2K did this with Michael Jordan a few years ago, and it was a major hit for fans of the game. Now with Bryant, it should be cool as well.

“The Lakers legend famously idolized Jordan, so it seems fitting that the Mamba Moments mode in NBA 2K24 comes after the NBA 2K23 edition of the game featured the Michael Jordan Challenge.”

Bryant still has immense popularity across the globe, and his career was one for the ages. This feature should give players an awesome look more deeply into his legacy.

Jumping directly into the action will be a great way for fans to remember Bryant. He has some of the best moments in NBA history, giving way to some cool features in the game.
