Perhaps the most depressing aspect of your Los Angeles Lakers' depressing 121-106 defeat to the Golden State Warriors at the Chase Center last night was the spooky head injury incurred by LA center Anthony Davis during the fourth quarter, with the game still semi-close.

Davis was elbowed in the face, inadvertently, by Warriors center Kevon Looney while battling in the paint for a rebound. He wound up departing the game for good and eventually being pushed in a wheelchair to an examination room due to balance concerns.

Earlier today, ahead of the Lakers officially submitting his status via a pregame injury report for Game 6, word leaked that he was considered likely to play tomorrow, provided he had no setbacks with his head injury.

Now, Los Angeles head coach Darvin Ham has shed further let on the Davis situation, per Mark Medina of Sportsnaut. Ham revealed that Davis was "not in the [concussion] protocol and not showing any signs of anything," adding that The Brow was probable to suit up tomorrow in Crypto.com Arena.

Given that Davis has been by far LA's most consequential player throughout these playoffs, that's excellent news for the Lakers, who no doubt would like to finish off the Warriors Friday night (the Lakers lead their series 3-2) rather than have to travel back to San Francisco for a Game 7 matchup.
