According to the league's latest injury report, both your Los Angeles Lakers and the dreaded Denver Nuggets could be missing critical starters heading into tonight's inaugural contest of what promises to be a storyline-heavy Western Conference Finals matchup.

As we revealed yesterday, starting Denver point guard Jamal Murray remains questionable to play through a non-COVID-19 illness. Bruce Brown would presumably be inserted into head coach Michael Malone's first five if Murray wound up being officially ruled out.

On the Lakers side of the equation, the team's two future Hall of Famers -- center Anthony Davis and small forward LeBron James -- have been listed as merely probable to play through a right foot stress injury and a sore right foot, respectively. 3-and-D rim-protecting reserve Mo Bamba, who's been more of a theoretical good fit since being traded to LA this year than an actually impactful player, will not play through his sore left ankle.

Bamba had recently indicated that he expects to be able to suit up for the Western Conference Finals at some point. Though that won't happen tonight (plus, he's not actually part of the team's rotation), we'll see how accurate his own health prognosis was for the rest of the series.
