The Los Angeles Lakers will be taking on the Orlando Magic as they begin a multi-game road trip. The Lakers will be looking to get back on track after a frustrating loss to the Chicago Bulls in their last contest.

Heading into the game, star guard Luka Doncic remains off the injury report for now, giving him the green light to play against Orlando. This is great news for the Lakers as they try to bounce back from the loss to the Bulls.

Doncic has been fairly consistent for the Lakers since coming over to the team in a trade at the deadline. They need him to be firing on all cylinders as the postseason gets going soon and he has seemed to answer the call.

Los Angeles was essentially run off the court against Chicago and it wasn't pretty. But the team did get a few players back from injury, showing some positivity for the future.

Both LeBron James and Rui Hachimura returned from long absences to provide a nice boost to the Lakers. Each of the two players are on the injury report for the game today against the Magic.

James has been listed as probable for the contest while Hachimura is questionable. The Lakers could use each of them on the court so the hope is that they will be able to suit up for this game.

But having Doncic on the floor at least gives this team some insurance if others can't suit up.

Los Angeles is in the midst of a tight playoff seeding battle so every game has become more meaningful. The Lakers hold a record of 43-27 for the year and they know that they are better than what they showed against Chicago.

If they can start this road trip out with a victory, it could go a long way for Los Angeles. After this game with the Magic, the team will be facing off against the Indiana Pacers, Bulls again, and then the Memphis Grizzlies.
