Lakers News: LA Legends, Experts Praise Lonnie Walker IV's Fourth Quarter Scoring Binge

The Los Angeles reserve swingman may have been last night's MVP.

Your Los Angeles Lakers' 104-101 victory last night against the Golden State Warriors had an unexpected hero in the fourth quarter: backup shooting guard Lonnie Walker IV, who chipped in all of his 15 points in the final frame, while shooting 6-for-9 from the field and 2-of-2 from the charity stripe.

A bunch of former Lakers Hall of Famers took to Twitter to praise the 6'4" wing, who'll be an unrestricted free agent this summer.

Former Showtime point guard Magic Johnson, a 12-time All-Star, five-time LA champ, and three-time league MVP, registered his excitement:
